Meliss Jakubovic Bachar has been dancing with her Israeli Folk Dance group in Atlanta since she was 7 years old and has been teaching the adult harkada, dance session, since the summer of 2000. In order to keep up-to-date with the new dance material, Meliss travels to as many dance camps a year as she can. She works with all ages from 3 years to adult and has worked at all of the Jewish Day Schools, the JCC, community events and festivals, Bar/Bat Mitzvah parties, and has performed all over the country. She also leads an Israeli Folk Dance Performing Group called Nitzanim comprised of Jewish High School students. She resides in Atlanta with her husband and 2 kids. Go Back..
